La ma\u00f1ana fr\u00eda y lluviosa de hoy lunes 19 de mayo del 2025 se apag\u00f3 la voz de Su Majestad del Llano. Nacido en Valencia, estado Carabobo, el 19 de abril de 1945, tuvo como cuna a Guanare, cuando su famila se mud\u00f3 a la capital portuguese\u00f1a cuando \u00e9l contaba con dos a\u00f1os de edad. Canciones como Viejo Soguero, La Fundadora, Arag\u00fcaney, El Cimarr\u00f3n, entre otras tonadas del poeta y m\u00fasico portuguese\u00f1o: Joel Hern\u00e1ndez, hicieron famoso a Salcedo, al interpretarlas\u00a0 magistralmente; tras una penosa enfermedad y con 80 a\u00f1os de vida Su Majestad del Llano muere en Campo Lindo, municipio P\u00e1ez del estado Portuguesa.
